We are looking for a Technology Engineer, with knowledge in downstream MLPE (Module Level Power Electronic), and batteries system, has hands on experiences in PV system design and field installation.

The candidate will be responsible for PV field setup and develop strategic partnerships and technical guidance on qualifying MLPE and batteries for PV system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\xc2\xb7 PV system design.

\xc2\xb7 Work with different downstream MLPE vendors on their product roadmap and strategic partnership, build up a testing criterion to qualify different MLPEs with REC\'s new product.

\xc2\xb7 Survey MLPE product applications in the market like micro-inverter, optimizer, and rapid shutdown.

\xc2\xb7 Work with NPD energy yield monitoring owner to build up PV test filed system.

\xc2\xb7 Work with different downstream batteries vendors on the strategic partnership

\xc2\xb7 Survey energy storage system in the market and keep team updates.

Drive product development of next-generation modules. Understand PV industry testing requirements and be able to relate to the development and testing of new products.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist R&D and process, manufacturing teams with technical analyses, troubleshooting and improvement projects.
• Plan, coordinate and be ready to work hands-on in test labs to conduct experiments if required
• Able to articulate and present confidently to internal and external stakeholders whenever required

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

\xc2\xb7 BS / MSc in Engineering or related fields

\xc2\xb7 Min. 3 years relevant experience from PV downstream/Power Electronic/Product Development / Field installation / Research background

\xc2\xb7 Module level downstream electronic.

\xc2\xb7 Field experiences in system design and installation

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge in PV modules characterization and analysis.

\xc2\xb7 Possess excellent communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 Possess excellent project management skills.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent team worker

\xc2\xb7 Ability to co-operate with different professionals (operations, equipment suppliers, technology institutes, supply chain, operation

\xc2\xb7 Working experience in Solar/Semiconductors/Electronics manufacturing industries is an advantage

Hands on experience in system designing and installation: Familiar with PV site installation, system sizing and understanding of actual field condition and constraints

Product Reliability Test Design: Familiar with PV industry IEC testing - e.g. Damp-heat, Temp Cycle, Humidity Freeze, Light induced degradation, thermal shock.

Failure Analysis: Leading FA from technical part. In-depth understanding of module process \xe2\x80\x93 structure \xe2\x80\x93 property relations, and the degradation mechanism in actual application
