Job Description

Our client is one of the leading manufacturers for industrial generators. We are now looking for an experience Senior Engineer (Mechanical) responsible for engineering design, development, modification, and testing verifications on existing or new generator sets. Evaluate and develop new designs for mechanical components of power systems including containers, sound enclosures and other ancillaries. Participate in implementation and review of designs for ongoing product improvements. Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure smooth transfer to manufacturing for pilot production.Responsibilities Work closely with Sales team to understand the customer requirements and provide engineering solution Produce drawings and design documentations on mechanical design Responsible that the design information is uploaded accordingly to the global engineering process Responsible in checking that the Bill of Material is updated for the manufacturing team Work closely with manufacturing team during assembly of the generators and assist to ensure smooth flow in the production line Participate in the testing and validating design, including measuring airflow, vibration profiles and temperature of the equipment under test Produce the test validation reports for discussions. Build good understanding of generator in terms of cooling system, fuel system and associated industry standards Support application engineer on installation enquiries to ensure generators optimized performance Involvement in continuous improvement projects focusing on work efficiency and costs savings Provide technical assistance to After-sales and QA departmentQualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7-8 years of relevant experience; or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10-12 years of relevant experience Knowledge in CREO Cad tool would be an additional advantageOthers 5-day work week (8.30am to 5.15pm) Company bus is provided to & fro pick up point near Boon Lay MRT Station to office.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
