Assessment and introduction/development of potential new suppliers in close cooperation with Supplier Management & Category Management & also in line with LCD Category and Technology Strategy;
Supplier process development with focus to technology and methology including sub-supplier management in co-work with internal stakeholder
Work with cross functional team (PUR/R&D/SQM) to drive supplier qualifications & technology qualification activities
Gap analysis at supplier and initiating repective action plan
Coaching and challenging supplier processes to accelarate and ensure automotive process readiness with regular on-site presence
Develop manufacturing capabilities, drive FMEA, support Statistical Process Control (SPC) analysis of data, DOE study, lead Lessons Learnt Read Across & drive continuous improvements of suppliers
Execute Supplier development & capacity/yield improvement activities (APQP, PPAP, Run@Rate, PSW etc)
Drive escalation if execution plan fails
Close collaboration of SQM ASD/SQM CI/ SQM Plant/R&D/Operations (3F approach) for early development activities for approval & manufacturing qualification to achieve seamless component introduction to manufacturability in plants with best optimized process capability/technology limits.
Ensure start-up of new products with Safe Launch Concept (SLC) co work with SQM CI
Release of suppliers by VDA 6.3.process audit
50-60% business travel or work at suppliers sites
