Accountable for maximizing the business value of Control-M product suite within Singtel Group
Planning and develop Strategic roadmaps aligning with Singtel’s Group strategies
Participate in activities including, but not limited to POCs, product design/customizations, upgrades and evaluations
Evaluate new tools/technologies as and when required
Evaluate system specifications and requirements to transform them into suitable and scalable Control-M Solutions
Expertise in Control-M Architecture, Solution Design, Installation, configuration, HA setup and administration for a distributed environment using version 9.x and later
Experience in implementation of Control-M in Cloud platforms and migrating batch workloads from on-prem to cloud platforms (working in hybrid model)
Experience in setting up new Control-M environment with experience in migration from a 3rd party scheduling tools to Control-M
Experience managing Control-M batch workloads in containers and provisioning Control-M in OpenShift/Docker/ Kubernetes container platforms in a DevOps model
Exposure to CI/CD pipeline integration with Control-M Deployments
Experience working Agile team structures and culture with direct experience with CI/CD pipelines and using tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo, BitBucket
Document and update Control-M Policies and Procedures
Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to determine the need for further automation or to improve existing systems from users
Experience implementing Control-M Site-Standards and of Workload Change Manager
Delivery, implementation and support of Control-M Add-ons and plug-ins such as WCM/Forecast/Batch Impact Manager/Self Service/File Transfer/SAP/Informatica etc.
Experience in setting Control-M Role Based Access
Ensure Control-M License compliance across Singtel Group and implement best practices to optimize license consumption within the group ELO entitlements
Experience with Control-M SSL implementations and full Control-M Server and EM security
Manage BAU Technical escalations
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance issues
Participate in Internal and External Audits and ensure compliance
Knowledgeable in common shell scripting and programming languages (PERL, PowerShell, Java, shell, batch, JSON, Python, C#, etc.)
Experience in Control-M Disaster Recovery Design, DR Strategy Planning, manage and Govern Control-M DR exercises to ensure DR compliance
Provide expert advice and guidance to the team w.r.t Control-M Solutions, issues and escalations
Ensure integration solutions of Control-M with various toolsets/Systems likes ServiceNOW, LDAP, Elastic function as expected complying with Singtel groups standards and policies
Control-M Batch development and scheduling skills and ability to manage critical process workflow
Should be able to support application team with implementing Control-M for their jobs
Coordinate with Business Domain Applications teams in providing solutions to their requirements
Manage workload and identifying critical services and provide solution to application team to optimize resource used
Vendor Governance over operational BAU deliverables and ensure adherence to committed SLA KPIs
Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities as required and assigned by supervisor
Education Qualification
A Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Managing IT Service Delivery
BMC Certified Control-M 9.x for Administrator
Work Experience
10+ years of experience in Control-M Engineering, Administration, Batch Job Scheduling, and Service Management concepts
5-7 years operations experience in incident handling and managing escalation w.r.t Control-M
