Job Description

The incumber is expected to assist Engineering Management to monitor and keep track inventory parts of all the machineries located at both SingPost eCommerce Log Hub and SingPost Center. He/she is also expected to coordinate with vendors during their remote or onsite support.

The Senior Engineering Officer is playing an essential role in SingPost\'s Engineering & Mail Technology Department. Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Utilize Computer-aided Maintenance Management software (CMMS) to update inventory status in real-time
• Monitor closely on the inventory availability and manage routine stock replenishment
• Forecast and consolidate spare parts list, which require to be stocked up in advance to ensure monthly KPIs of the parts availability are met
• Prepare inventory master list of spare parts whenever a new infrastructure transferred from Future of Post (FOP) to Front End Support (FES)
• Communicate with suppliers for RFQ spare parts and spare parts purchase, and managing suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of spare parts
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory report to update management on the inventory status and the purchased spare parts deliveries status
• Prepare monthly department expense report to update management on areas of actual expense vs budget and assist management to explore areas of wastage, which could be reduced
• Update parts availability at Engineering Dashboard via Power BI app
• Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments when required

Requirements:

• Any Nitec/higher Nitec from recognized tertiary institutions, preferably in IT, Engineering or Logistic/Supply Chain related
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good team player with high level of initiative and independence
• Candidates who can start on short notice would be an advantage
