What the role is:You lead a team of admin executives to provide relevant, responsive and value-added administrative and secretarial support services to the department.What you will be working on:- Work closely with multiple branches in the department and collaborate with various stakeholders to provide full administrative support for capability development - Oversee the management and allocation of resources across manpower, finance and logistics, including the archiving and accounting of outgoing and incoming documents Challenge(s) - Supervising, training, and motivating a team effectively - Prioritising and multi-tasking to manage workload without compromising quality, security and efficiency despite lean manpower - Acquiring and applying knowledge of policies, directives and processes across various functional areasWhat we are looking for:- Strong leadership, interpersonal and effective communication skills - Ability to prioritise and multi-task - Willingness to explore possible ways to manage workload - Good command of English (written and verbal) - Literacy in Microsoft Apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) - Willingness to learn and be conversant with policies, and online systems/portals - Team player with positive attitude - Ability to talk to different stakeholders and people to understand, influence and resolve issues Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MINDEF:The mission of MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
