The Role

The candidate will join a dynamic team in Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies (ALCNS) within the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, He/she will provide administrative support in the following areas:

• Promote alumni relations and build long term relationships by developing plans for active alumni engagement and networking
• Track and ensure alumni contact and employment data is up-to-date
• Increase alumni engagement and exposure in support of university and industry partner visits and outreach events such as Open House, career and scholarship fairs, etc
• Manage websites and social media
• Act as primary point of contact for all alumni enquiries
• Manage international visits

Alumni Relations

• Ensure accurate recording of alumni and external relations interactions and update of the Events Management System
• Ensure alumni contact and employment data are up-to-date and promotional materials are produced on a timely manner
• Ensure alumni engagement activities are planned according to stipulated timelines
• Ensure information on website and social media platforms are up-to-date

Clinical Nursing Faculty Scheme (CNFS)

• Liaise with healthcare institutions (HCI) on appointment and reappointment of Nurses to the CNFS
• Monitor contributions of CNFS appointees to NUS Nursing

External Relations

• Serve as first point of contact for international enquiries on visit plans
• Plan visit programmes in consultation with the Head
• Ensure events are planned according to the university policies and regulations
• Ensure visitors are provided with all essential information prior to their visits.
• Produce promotional materials on a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure requests of collaboration are referred to the relevant faculty for follow-up action

To undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade as determined by the Reporting Manager and Head of Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree and at least one year of work experience
• A team player with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate activities to promote alumni relations and strengthen alumni chapters
• Outgoing personality and ability to work under pressure
• Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office
