We welcome you to join our team as: SENIOR EXECUTIVE/ ASSISTANT MANAGER (COURT FACILITIES & DEVELOPMENT) What the role is The Senior Executive (SE)/ Assistant Manager (AM) (Court Facilities & Development) is in charge of audio and visual systems, video conferencing system, digital recording system, and integration/ development of such systems and facilities in the judiciary to facilitate court hearings. The SE/AM is responsible for coordinating with IT professionals, and ensuring seamless operation of audio-visual, video conferencing and digital recording to support the judicial proceedings. He will work with other managers and executives to manage the court facilities in the Singapore Courts.What you will be working on:

  • Manage the audio visual, video conferencing and digital audio recording system in the hearing venues to ensure operational readiness. \xe2\x80\xa2 Set up, test and provide technical support for all hearing venues scheduled for virtual hearings, including hearings requiring both physical and virtual participants. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide technical expertise/ support to the team and troubleshoot complex issues when required. As first responders, attend, manage, mitigate, resolve, and report all disruptions relating to virtual hearings, events and meetings. \xe2\x80\xa2 Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in audio visual, video conferencing and digital audio recording technologies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and manage the coordination work for major events which require audio visual and/ or video conferencing set-up. \xe2\x80\xa2 Extract video recording from cloud or computer. It will require labelling, editing, copying and storing media in DVDs or servers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Retrieve recordings for the purpose of transcription. \xe2\x80\xa2 Track inventory of VC and AV equipment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with IT department to assess suitability for adoption, manage user requirements, and provide new solutions to bridge business needs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new solution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
What we are looking for:Work Experience and Competencies \xe2\x80\xa2 3 to 5 years of working experience in related field (AV/Electrical/Electronics/IT), of which at least 1 year of experience should be in providing AV/ IT service to users. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge of audio visual, video conferencing and digital audio recording systems. Personal Traits \xe2\x80\xa2 Service-oriented mind-set. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication and interpersonal skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Adaptable to changes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good time management with the ability to multi-task well. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team. The successful candidate will be appointed on a one-year probationary contract in the first instance. Only short-listed candidates will be notified.
