• Responsible for managing the organization with regards to the everyday operations of the newly to be created Fruits and Vegetable Processing/Packing operations that form part of to be established Central Processing Unit (CPU, consisting of Seafood processing/packing and Fruit and Vegetable processing/packing).
• Responsible for setting direction and managing staff with regards to:
  • Financial targets /Financial KPIs (P/L ownership for operations)
  • Operational KPIs such as: Fulfillment on time, Yield/Shrinkage, Cost for unit of transformation
  • Business Development
  • Employee safety
  • Training and capability
  • Drive and assist in continuous improvement
• Co-drive the development and start-up the new organization and facilities in coordination with various stakeholders

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/ or other relevant field with industry experience, or
• Diploma Holder extensive experience in similar role and proven track record of Impact and continuous drive for improvement and learning
• Relevant work experience in the Food Manufacturing, Logistics/Warehousing, Operations Management or other relevant positions
• Good understanding of Operations and/or Logistics Management principles
• Good understanding of Fresh Category
• Must have displayed to drive tangible results (sales, profit, etc.) in collaboration with multifunctional stakeholders
• Experience in the Food Processing will be an added advantage
• Able to lead a team, and work independently
• Motivated, meticulous and results oriented
• Resourceful and problem solver
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Team player and ability to collaborative and work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, etc
