Learning Technologies and Digital Media (LTDM) offers teaching and learning digital solutions that are in line with NTU Education 2025 to develop the 3C\xe2\x80\x99s (Cognitive agility, Character and Competence) in students, and aligns strategic directions and initiatives so as to deliver the best outcomes to enable a great global university.

LTDM serves the NTU community by providing end-to-end solutions for teaching and learning, as well as media support. Our suite of services include:

\xc2\xb7 design and development of learning courseware,

\xc2\xb7 operation and support of learning solutions and AR&VR solutions, and

\xc2\xb7 implementation of learning technologies and digital media, including web learning, events and media production, web publishing and social media.

To facilitate all our services, we have a pool of talented staff comprising Learning Designers, Multimedia Specialists, Video Specialists, System Management and Support team, and Events and Media Support team.

LTDM invites a suitable candidate to join the Events and Media Support team to provide technical and creative support to the live events team for the delivery of live events production services. The role would require past proven experience in executing events productions and the ability to navigate the complexities of working in a diverse and complex event set up to deliver an excellent user experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the technical producer to coordinate, setup, operate and tear down equipment for live event production services, such as video cameras, video capturing system, encoding, switching and distribution encoders for live streaming equipment.
• Responsible for the safety, maintenance and inventory control of production equipment and system.
• Display an understanding of pre-production, production and post-production workflow, including the ability to perform basic video editing.
• Technical support for all aspects of live and recorded event production, and troubleshoot issues when required.
• Create, archive, and maintain digital assets.
• Willingness to learn and keep up with the latest industry trends and technology, to increase production standards, effectiveness and efficiencies for the team and various stakeholders within NTU.

• Diploma in Digital Film & Television Production, Media Post-Production and other relevant fields.
• At least two years of experience in live event production, studio production, broadcast video production, or any relevant production fields.
• Experience with live broadcast and production equipment including but not limited to vision mixers, robotic camera systems, real time motion graphics systems
• Knowledge in workflows and techniques for live event production, studio production, broadcast video production, or any relevant production fields.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is a bonus.
• Ability to serve as tech support for streaming platforms and troubleshoot issues when required.
• Passionate about the live events and media production industry.
• Resourceful with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Able to work independently within a team setting.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to work across different teams.
• Positive self-starter who is organised, detail-orientated, able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Must be flexible to work some weekends and evenings when required.
