Introduction:

Responsibilities:

As a building services staff, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment, such as air-conditioning, lighting, plumbing, fire safety, security and lifts

• Performing regular inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs of all building facilities and assets

• Responding to emergency situations and breakdowns promptly and effectively

• Coordinating with external contractors and vendors for specialized services and projects

• Complying with all relevant safety and environmental regulations and standards

• Involve in emergency management during evacuation and giving support to superior

• Assist in annual budgeting of department, taking control of expenditure and capex

• Assist in monitoring monthly expenditure and capex and explain budget variances

• Any other duties as may be designated by the company

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you will need:

• At least 2 years of experience in building services or facilities management, preferably in a luxury retail or hospitality environment

• A diploma or certificate in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering or related fields

• A strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• A high level of communication and customer service skills

• A flexible and adaptable attitude to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
