What the role is:The Claims Management Office (CMO) in the Healthcare Finance Group of MOH ensures appropriate care for our national financing schemes, through development of claims guidelines and claims adjudication. The officer will play an important role to support the core functions of the division such as to perform analysis on past claims data to identify egregious claims and monitor effectiveness of claims guidance and responding to enquiries/feedback relating to claims appropriateness. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:

• Perform analysis on past claims data to identify egregious claiming patterns and to monitor the effectiveness of claims guidance over time \xe2\x80\xa2 Respond to claims rules-related feedback and enquiries from stakeholders including clinicians, healthcare institutions and insurers \xe2\x80\xa2 Redaction of claims documents for adjudication Panel \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with IT vendor to maintain the claims analytics system \xe2\x80\xa2 Administrative support including drafting of submissions where required, maintain divisional budget/procurement, organise and provide support for meetings including minutes taking
