Who We Need
The Centre of Quality, Informatics & Innovation comprises 5 units, Clinical Informatics, Quality Resource Management, Bed & Surgical Booking Office, Medical Record Office and Innovation.
The team is looking for candidates experienced in Quality Improvement methodologies, training and Project management skillsets build an innovative culture and support the planning and development of innovation projects.
The responsibilities are as stated below.
Lead the sustainability of the Pathway to Innovation curriculum and content.
Conduct Quality Innovators training and workshops for intra-hospital staff.
Guide a nominated Quality Innovators to build an innovative culture within their departments.
Lead in the re-design of patient and caregiver journeys, solving real problems and pain points.
Seek insights from patients and caregivers to refine the problem statement.
Support stakeholder departments in planning for monitoring and evaluation of interventions.
Translate the insights into tangible implementation which address needs and operational goals.
Act as a change agent and driver to instil a continuously improving, productive and patient-centric culture.
Responsible for assuring the service and clinical quality meet regulations as defined from the Ministry of Health\'s Private Hospital and Medical Clinics Act as well as fulfilling external Quality audit requirements.
Promote a culture of service excellence amongst staff to deliver patient satisfaction in our service delivery and a safe reporting culture to facilitate quality empowerment from all staff.
Identify lapses in the service delivery to ascertain the patient safety risks and appropriateness to achieve high standards of clinical quality targeted at the execution of systemic improvements.
To plan, drive and execute quality improvement projects at hospital levels.
To analyze the trend from key unit incident management indicators for management reporting.
To investigate and identify root causes for specific trends of Quality related Issues.
To provide secretariat support for Quality Assurance committees, including the case presentation preparations for Mortality & Morbidity rounds, Serious reportable events and other quality platforms.
To evaluate and triage complaints, incidents service feedback to identify areas for improvements.
To investigate and coordinate investigations of complaints related to medical management or service lapses.
How to Succeed
A Degree qualification in any Healthcare related field is preferred.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience with operations or service background. Those with experience working in the healthcare industry will have an advantage.
Experience using the Design Thinking framework and other human-centered design techniques, including personal development, jobs-to-be-done, crafting of insights, journey mapping, rapid prototyping and building wireframes and clickable/physical prototypes is highly preferred.
Experience in application of Human Factors, Human Factors Intervention Matrix (HFIX) or Behavioral Insights will be an advantage.
Experience in facilitating workshops and conducting training.
Personality traits: highly self-driven and self-motivated, exceptional interpersonal skills, positive attitude, perseverance to overcome obstacles.
Excellent planning, analytical, problem solving and communication skills (written and verbal).
Candidates with clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
