How to Succeed
  • Diploma/Degree in Human Resources/Business. Other fields may also be considered.
  • Experience in HR/Learning & Organisation Development/Corporate function.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good knowledge of HRIS Unit4 (Prosoft) will be an added advantage as training records are updated and reports are generated in this system.
  • Strong team-player.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships with all levels in the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, follow-up and time management skills.
  • Organised, resourceful, meticulous and careful.
Who We Need

You will be part of the L&OD team to align individual employee goals and performance with that of the Hospital.
  • Liaise with educational institutions to monitor and keep track of course registration dates for their respective training programmes.
  • Prepare and administer bond documents, including calculation of bond values.
  • Assist in the administration of staff and student sponsorships funded by MAH, including processing/vetting application forms, arranging interviews, liaising with applicants and educational institutions, supporting successful applicants with necessary admin support such as issuing company sponsorship letters and liaising with MAH Finance on disbursement of bursaries and payment of course fees for successful applicants.
  • Budgeting for the Hospital\'s annual training needs and managing the Training Budget throughout the year.
  • Facilitate internal approvals for ad hoc external training requests from the Hospital\'s various departments.
  • Assist with running internal corporate training programmes such as Orientation for new staff.
  • Identify and work with suitable course providers to conduct corporate training programmes as per the training needs identified for the Hospital on a global level. For example in areas of service excellence and leadership.
  • Review course feedback and evaluate corporate courses for effectiveness/ability to meet organizational objectives.
  • Data entry, tracking and preparation of monthly reports on the Hospital\'s Training KPIs
  • Support the L&OD Manager to make enhancements to policies and workflows related to the Hospital\'s learning needs and training objectives, which in turn raise the quality of performance and service by staff.
