Anchored in our values of Passion for Sport, Strength through Teamwork and Care for People, we believe in working and playing, not just as a team, but as a family.What you will be working on:This role seeks to build a vibrant local leagues/competitions calendar that will allow people of varying age groups and abilities to compete regularly, well supported by the sport industry partners, gaining the interests from public and corporate partners. You will : \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyse the ecosystem to understand the gaps and the needs of various sports, level of competition and age group \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan the format of ActiveSG Leagues & Competitions suitable for the required ages and abilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate all existing local competitive events and provide recommendations for efficient resource deployment \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan an annual calendar filled with wide range of competitive events to look out for \xe2\x80\xa2 Improve relationships with NSAs to explore opportunities to enhance their events organisations capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Rally and gain support from grassroot communities to enable nationwide participation \xe2\x80\xa2 Seek discussion platforms with various industry partners to creatively enhance their current offerings \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive interest from corporate partners to support/ sponsor local competitive events \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and budget for the execution of ActiveSG Leagues & Competitions \xe2\x80\xa2 Work with internal stakeholders and appointed service providers to successfully execute the identified events \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify the risks involved and implement the suitable safety protocols accordinglyWhat we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 4 - 8 years of work experience within the following setting(s): a) Schools and involved in Sport CCA b) Sport academies or clubs c) Sport service provider d) Events management \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven experience in customer relationship management, Government policy planning and processes \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of self-motivation to achieve targets \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellence in multi-tasking \xe2\x80\xa2 Good written and oral communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent interpersonal skills to nurture relationships and influence \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong team player, positive and can-do spirit The level of offer will commensurate with applicants\' experience and track records.
