We are hiring a Senior Executive, Shared Services & Payroll , to join our Human Resources Department . This is a full-time permanent position to be based on our Asia campus in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of HR & Operations (Asia), the successful candidate will support an effective and efficient functioning of the HR Shared Services (HRSS) team, which delivers HR transactional services of end-to-end employee life cycle activities, ensuring operational excellence. The role of Senior Executive (Shared Services & Payroll) also handles a wide range of HR operational tasks which require high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness. It is a critical role which contributes towards operational efficiency, legal compliance and employee experience. Key Responsibilities include: Contract management and administration of employment contracts (including but not limited to new hires, internal/ international mobility & promotions). Administration & coordination of on-boarding administration & exit process with all relevant parties (also supports & consultancy to line managers and new joiners/leavers including but not limited to relocation support, preparation of relevant letters, exit clearance & settlement of all applicable benefits and outstanding payments). Conducts HR briefing for new employees particularly campus specific activities, employees' benefits & HR self-service portal. Payroll management (as reviewer of monthly payroll & Finance salary cost charging reports) to ensure timely and accurate payroll. This includes annual reporting of employment income & benefits to local tax authority (in compliance with tax legislation) & payroll audits. Will also be the backup for payroll processor where applicable. Attends to employees' queries and requests for preparation of official letters. Work pass applications and renewals (as backup) and supports analysis on working visa outlook in Singapore. Plans & manages the annual long service award activities.. Participates in the planning & execution of other wellness/welfare projects. for employees. Manages mandatory government surveys . Plays HR advisory role to HR CoEs, line managers and employees on HR processes, policies & compliance. Participates in HR improvement/transformation projects where applicable. Key Requirements: Preferably Bachelor's Degree in HRM/Business Management. At least 8 years' work experience in a similar role. Strong experience in Payroll administration is a requirement for this role. Excellent working knowledge of local employment legislation (Employment Act) and HR best practices.
