Job Description

This position provides critical support to the overall donor relations and gift stewardship efforts of the University by providing high quality communications, recognition, and engagement for donors to ensure ongoing and long-term philanthropic support of the University.

It also develops and delivers engaging donor experience and events as well as curates meaningful recognition programmes, in addition to maintaining systems including customer relations database and performing data analytics.

Responsibilities

Recognition

Plan and execute regular donor recognition exercises at the University e.g., donor walls updates.

Oversee the contents and timely sending of the welcome packs

Assist in the planning of new donor recognition programmes to promote a culture of philanthropy.

Collaborate closely with the central Events Office colleagues and fundraisers to contribute towards the planning and logistics for donor recognition events.



Engagement

Assist in the planning and roll-out of signature stewardship events to strengthen donor engagement and prospecting.

Collaborate with the fundraisers and gift beneficiaries to organise donor engagement activities e.g. donor-meet-recipients sessions.

Responsible for the creation, timeliness and quality of stewardship collaterals, including annual festive greeting touchpoints.

Support Contribute to the timely resolution of donor relations and stewardship-based inquiries through research, problem solving, and communication with relevant colleagues.

Data Analytics

Maintain accurate and up-to-date database records of donor stewardship activity and analysis for decision making

Documentation of stewardship processes and activities, and provide recommendations as needed.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Work experience in non-profit fundraising is advantageous.

Experience working with customer relations database, including but not limited to mailing list generation, data updates and maintenance of communication record, is advantageous.

Competency in creative software such as Photoshop and/or Illustrator is advantageous

A clear and confident communication style with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals of all levels, including both internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated proven experience in project management and event management.

Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.

Ability to think creatively, applying knowledge and skills to new contexts and thinking beyond traditional solutions.
