Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is a research-intensive public university, which has 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The NTU School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. It has about 50 faculty members and more than 1,100 students and is rapidly expanding its range of education and research activities.

As Senior Executive at the Office of Associate Chair (Students) of the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) focuses on student care and wellbeing. The key purposes are to enhance the wellbeing, development experience of CEE students (especially mental health and wellbeing).

The key responsibilities encompass the following:

Coordinate with stakeholders to align care and support for CEE undergraduate students.

Periodic monitoring and meeting with students who face mental, relationship and financial problems, as well as working with stakeholders (within and beyond CEE) who include CEE Undergraduate Office, Academic Mentors (CEE faculty), CEE Industry Mentors (industry professionals, including CEE alumni), and University Wellbeing Office.

Take charge of the administrative matters to support the CEE Industry Mentorship Programme (initiative stared by CEE in 2023) as well as the Academic Mentoring Programme.

Liaise with administrators in CEE Undergraduate Office to advise students who face academic challenges on their fulfilment of credit requirements.

Maintain and update database of student care records.

Requirements

Minimally a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree from a recognised University (degree in related field or work experience in the tertiary education sector will be preferred).

Preferably with knowledge and/or experience in counselling

A strong commitment and passion towards student wellbeing and support.

Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
