Responsibilities:

• Demand planning, material replenishment planning, monitoring of forecast.
• Issuing of Purchase Orders.
• Follow up with deliveries, shipments, production schedules and inventories level.
• Ensure shipments come in promptly without overstocking at warehouses.
• Checking and comparing of quotations with shipping lines, clearance agents, courier service etc.
• Good knowledge and understanding of shipping incoterms.
• Ensure proper filling and documentation which include PO with supporting emails, shipping document, permits, custom forms, GRN etc
• Logistics arrangements for deliveries and work closely with transporters, forwarders, clearance agents, warehouses to resolve any issues which may result in delayed in deliveries/ shipments,
• Monthly checking of company warehouse and 3rd Party warehouse stock list against company stock records.
• Involve in half yearly stock take in company warehouses.
• Any other ad-hoc matters.

• Manage daily operations to achieve on-time-in-full delivery
• Vendor Management - sourcing of reliable vendors, price negotiations, constantly evaluate performance management on price, delivery and quality
• Inventory management and stock accuracy

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics discipline
• A six sigma certification, lean manufacturing or other related qualification on project management is advantageous
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain
• Technically sound coupled with experience in sourcing, negotiation and cost control
• Possess initiatives, logical thinking and good analytical abilities, and able to resolve issues from multiple perspectives.
