Job Description

The Role
Department Secretary for the largest department in the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Personal Assistant to the Head, Department of Medicine.
- Screening of emails and ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of emails to relevant stakeholders
- Thorough checking of NUH and NUS documents, ensuring compliance and prior approvals sought before surfacing for HoD\xe2\x80\x99s review and endorsement
- Responsible for the Staff Welfare Fund
- Coordination of meetings, events and conferences which may include minutes writing
- Planning and preparation of content for DoM newsletter (Academic segment)
- Provision of administrative support for HoD, departmental activities and daily HR operations
- Any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferably in Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience working in large organisations particularly in secretariat and administrative work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Meticulous and organised
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Able to perform under pressure
- Positive attitude, resilient and able to work well independently and as a team player
- Maintain confidentiality, tact and discretion when dealing with people and confidential data
