Job Description


Job Purpose

This position will provide support on programme management at Academic Affairs.



Programme Administration

1. Responsible for the full-suite of programme management activities; from participant and faculty engagement to providing pre and post programme administrative and logistical arrangements
2. Be a point of contact for programme participants and actively engage them pre, during and post-programme
3. Work closely with relevant faculty members and provide intelligence and useful information of participants for optimum student engagement
4. Manage transactions and correspondence/communication with external partners and vendors
5. Provide administrative support to the Finance and Administrative team in facilitating teaching approvals and payments
6. Participate in outreach and networking events, and support communication/marketing initiatives
7. Administrative support for admission, programme management/ student life and graduation
8. Attend to matriculation matters for newly admitted students eg. student pass applications, student card printing, prepare orientation package, verification of application documents, updating registration data in EduRec
9. Assist with content for webpages, social media, newsletters, etc.
10. Mange potential students\' enquiries and assist with the application process

Other Duties

  • If required, other duties as assigned by the department
Qualifications
  • A good bachelor\'s degree in any discipline from a reputable university
  • Some relevant work experience in the education/training industry is preferred; fresh graduates may be considered
  • Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English to administer the Master in Public Management and Administration (MPAM) as the mode of instruction is in Mandarin.
  • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications
  • Resilient, resourceful with good problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
  • Strong communication skills (e.g. oral, written, public speaking) and must be comfortable with networking.
  • Possess a positive attitude and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work across multi-functions/ multi-individuals/ multi-cultural situations to achieve
