Analyze tax requirements and calculate potential tax savings for our portfolio
Review property valuations and present them to asset managers
Manage third-party vendors involved in property tax matters
Prepare, submit, and track property tax objections and appeals
Communicate with tax authorities to achieve favorable outcomes
Collaborate with asset managers and tenants to recover excess property tax payments
Represent landlords at valuation appeal hearings and discussions with tax authorities
Participate in property inspections with tax officials
Support asset managers with annual property tax budgeting
Assist team leaders in generating reports
Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement new policies (e.g., property tax rebates)
Requirements:
A diploma or degree in Business, Estate Management, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in real estate, with a focus on property tax or valuation preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets
