Senior Executive/manager, Lease Management (property Tax) 2 Years Contract

Job Description
- Maintain property tax compliance with regulations
- Analyze tax requirements and calculate potential tax savings for our portfolio
- Review property valuations and present them to asset managers
- Manage third-party vendors involved in property tax matters
- Prepare, submit, and track property tax objections and appeals
- Communicate with tax authorities to achieve favorable outcomes
- Collaborate with asset managers and tenants to recover excess property tax payments
- Represent landlords at valuation appeal hearings and discussions with tax authorities
- Participate in property inspections with tax officials
- Support asset managers with annual property tax budgeting
- Assist team leaders in generating reports
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement new policies (e.g., property tax rebates)
- A diploma or degree in Business, Estate Management, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in real estate, with a focus on property tax or valuation preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets
