What this job involves:

Leading overall operations

Are you a seasoned facilities expert with solid leadership skills? Working with a team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll manage key client activities for the assigned facilities. Likewise, you will implement building procedures and performance measures\xe2\x80\x94and ease the path for compliance with these. You will oversee all internal and external audits / inspections to ensure compliance with Client\xe2\x80\x99s and JLL policies and requirements You\xe2\x80\x99ll boost cross-site operations by promoting best practices, innovations and creating better processes. This job will also entail the question \xe2\x80\x9cHow do I ensure the safety of my colleagues?\xe2\x80\x9d You will do this by promoting adherence to health and safety standards.

Getting the clients\xe2\x80\x99 thumbs up

As the Senior facilities manager, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be working frequently with clients, so you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to build strong relationships with them. Likewise, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be proactive and engaging; and make sure that the clients\xe2\x80\x99 diverse expectations are met each and every time. You will also be the key go-to person for leading your team to achieve key performance metrics and meet service level agreements and answer any facilities-related concerns. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be leading regular meetings with clients as part of effort to establish and monitor performance deliverables.

Keeping an eye on budget and contracts

Do you have a proven track record in finance management? As the person in charge, you will take care of the overall financial operations. (e.g. forecasting / budgeting / analysis of variance and cost benchmark) Key deliverable such as formulating and implementing operation and long-term capital planning and budgeting process. Also, part of your job is to oversight vendors and suppliers, and make sure that they deliver quality work practices according to the contract, and at the right cost.

Adept at facilities management

Do you have eight years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in facilities management or other related fields and a degree of any discipline from a recognised tertiary establishment to land this job ? If so, you will be a perfect fit for the role. Likewise, an experience in managing commercial contracts and budgets supervision, customer service and stakeholder engagement may just help you land this job. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also need to be a goal-oriented individual who\xe2\x80\x99s an ace in health and safety requirements, vendor management, legislative requirement and property technical systems management. As lead for the team, you need to be flexible to work on occasional public holiday, weekend and night shifts when necessary.

Organised and analytical

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a self-motivated and quick-thinking facilities manager who can solve problems using quantitative methods and holistic approaches. Likewise, we\xe2\x80\x99re on the lookout for well-organised leaders who plan tasks in advance and constantly stay ahead of deadlines.

Engaging and professional

A passion for excellence is what makes a great facilities manager. We\xe2\x80\x99ll need someone who can do more than the bare minimum to meet our clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also be working with different kinds of people, so you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be an expert in handling them professionally. Likewise, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to effectively manage, train and inspire the team to always do better. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also need to take the time to listen to your people to create better work impact.
