Job Description
Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer to assist their Engineering team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in North \xe2\x80\x93 easily accessible. This Failure Analysis Engineer would be responsible for :
- Responsible for leading and performing analyses of automotive electronic products.
- Responsible for developing strategies and implementing adequate methods in the lab for failure analyses and teardowns.
- Responsible for standardizing FA techniques to speed up analysis.
- Responsible for synergizing FA activities by working with local and global teams as needed.
- Responsible for leading FA technicians in elemental and metallurgical analyses (SEM, EDX, FTIR, micro cross-section, etc.), non-destructive analyses (CT scan, SAM, laser confocal microscope, etc.), thermal analyses (DSE, TGA), and physical and mechanical analyses (hardness, texture, contact angle, CMM, smart scope, tensile tester, etc.).
- Responsible for improving FA lab capabilities in the 4M aspects.
- Responsible for participating in and demonstrating failure analysis capabilities to customers.
- Min. Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineer or relevant studies
- Prior experiences in manufacturing is a bonus
