About the Role:
Manage marketing activities of Ferrero brands to meet sales, profit and market share targets within agreed budgets. Maximize the value of the brands through developing, communicating and implementing brands strategies and developing guidelines covering portfolio, communication, activation and pricing. Develop and manage the implementation of all brand activities based on brand strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
MARKETING STRATEGY
Make recommendations to the Regional Marketing Manager on competitive positions and strategy for the product lines (specifying benefits, target consumer groups, pricing, etc.).
Contributes to define strategy and actions to maximize profitability
Implement Ferrero marketing strategies, define initiatives and business development actions for the Area/Country.
Co-creates and leads execution of marketing strategy, balancing business KPIs with Category, Group, Regional, Multifunctional guidelines
Also acts as Cluster Senior Brand Manager for SEA HKTW dotted line to SEA HKTW Cluster Kinder Lead
MARKET DEVELOPMENT
Identifies plans to drive marketing mix, specifically communication and portfolio
Identifies opportunities for new products/formats/initiatives, and works alongside Area on the assessment and commercialization
MARKETING PLAN
Provide strategic guidance and support on appropriate marketing plans for the local market
Monitors implementation of marketing activities, local campaigns, and third-party co-marketing
Determines go-to-market plan including pricing, portfolio and communication
SCENARIO ANALYSES ON COMPETITION/ CONSUMERS / MARKET
Initiates consumer research studies as needed to support brand strategy creation and communication/portfolio development.
Develops understanding of customer behavior and translate to marketing strategy and insights sharing
COMMUNICATION AND ADVERTISING STRATEGY
Define the communication strategy for the Region/Country in accordance with the Group guidelines
Lead development and implementation of all key communication assets alongside Cluster Marketing Team
Establish and conduct relations with external partners
Direct and verify the advertising plans for Ferrero\xe2\x80\x99s products
PROMOTIONS/SPONSORSHIP
Monitor implementation of Activity Grid
Work with team members and the sales function on evaluating the success of the specific promotions / sponsorship deals undertaken, and specify the arrangement for any corrective action / future projects that may be required
Ensure execution of POSMs is in accordance with brand strategy and guidelines
Evaluate the sponsorships and promotions, identifying opportunities for improvement
PACKAGING AND PRODUCT DOCUMENTATION
Propose and monitor execution of new formats and packaging in line with local guidelines
TEST MANAGEMENT
Manage communication, product tests and product launches in line with Ferrero guidelines
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
Review the budget sales volumes of the product lines
Recommend, and own the stewardship of, budget: financial targets, performance, and costs
HR MANAGEMENT
Contributes to the definition of the function\xe2\x80\x99s role, ways-of-working and organization
Who we are looking for:
Minimum 8-15 years of related work experience is required
Experience and education/training on brand
Knowledge of marketing tools, frameworks and concepts
Familiarity with key digital platforms/channels
Knowledge of the Asian region, in terms of consumers and FMCG dynamics
Experience in interpreting and analysing research results and measures
Team working skills and strong ability to influence vertically and horizontally
Communication skills, mechanism and techniques
