Hegen is a fast-growing company specialising in mother and baby products, with a mission to enhance the breastfeeding journey for both the mother and baby. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Executive (Contract) to join us at our brand-new office based in Alexandra. You will be part of a highly dynamic and energetic team who are responsible for every aspect of Hegen’s growth across the region. Roles and Responsibilities

• Process and manage daily accounting and finance functions including timely recording of transactions, cash management, banking, payroll, inventory, receivables, payables, GL etc.
• Handle full set of financial statements
• Maintain fixed assets register
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting and budget variance analysis to senior management.
• Liaise with banks, auditor, tax agent and company secretary
• Perform tax computations, CPF, IR8A and GST submission
• Responsible for inventory accounting, control and analysis.
• Establish, monitor and maintain reconciliations and review of inventory variances
• Ensure accuracy of all financial data, as well as compliance with accounting standards & policies and internal control procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance analytical capacity and reporting quality and improving productivity through systems and technology.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or with at least 3 years in similar capacity
• CA/CPA qualifications preferred
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (Singapore FRS and IFRS)
• Experience in computerised accounting environment, preferably MYOB or similar accounting system
• Proficient in MS office applications especially Excel
• Strong communication skills and a team player
• Articulate, poised, and concise
• Flexible, adaptable, resilient and high level of integrity - Comfortable working in a high velocity growing environment
• Results-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision
