Job Description


As a Senior Financial Analyst for recovery team in Banking Technology department, you are managing recovery of approximately $25m per month. You will gain insight and experience into how to manage large database from multiple sources and what drives the technology cost. There will also be opportunity to work and support platforms (Programme Director, Programme Manager, Project Manager and PMO financials). You will be responsible in ensuring accuracy and completeness of data for recovery. This role requires high degree of analytical skills, keen eye for details to process day-to-day work, analytical and problem solving. We are looking out for individual who are self-motivated and keen to drive improvement in process to join the team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly recharge of SG and offshore resource costs to Initiatives, Enhancement & BAU book, including manual patching of timesheets where required.
  • Manage and Consolidate DOA Drawdown & DOA monitoring and submission of forecasting and accrual by Project Managers.
  • Prepare actual recharge report based on work allocations, resource costs, invoices and DOAs.
  • Consolidate and update YTD or accumulative recharge for senior management review and actions.
  • Provide CBG Finance and Other business groups monthly bookings of SG & India resource costs.
  • Work closely with both onshore and offshore teams to support the recharge process.
  • Work closely with platforms to resolve recharge gaps.
  • Reconcile AR and WIP movement for GLAO, identify and investigate any posting error.
  • Reconcile WIP balance to PSGL; Prepare WIP transfer to Fixed Asset.
  • Review AR balance and transactions; identify posting errors.
  • Validate monthly India offshore billing worksheet (includes review and confirm amount).
  • Validate monthly SG vendor invoices summary from Vendor Management team.
  • Prepare month-end MJEs, WIP movement schedules, forecast, accruals, reclass and FPU approval.
  • Prepare Intercompany billings by countries, resolve any issues and communicate to country finance.
  • Provide guidance to platforms and handle all adhoc requests.
  • Work with COO internal teams to continuously stream line processes and identify ways for improvement.
Required Experience
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • 10 years and above in financial management experience
  • Advance financial& analysis skills.
  • Strong familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, actual tracking and accrual.
  • Has keen attention to details with excellent analytical skills
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Solid skills in MS Office - Strong in MS Excel and PowerPoint
