Maersk Line Fleet Management and Technology is responsible for Ship Management of all the Maersk owned container vessels. The operation is primarily conducted out of Copenhagen, Singapore, Hamburg and Mumbai. We are looking for a career-minded professional to join us as a Senior Fleet Superintendent to be a part of our Fleet Operations team in Singapore. You will be part of a Fleet Group team referring to the Fleet Group Manager and will be directly responsible for Ship Management of approximately 5 to 6 complex container vessels. Responsible for END to END ship management of vessels under responsibility, ensuring SAFE, RELIABLE, COST EFFECTIVE and EFFICIENT Operations
Ensure compliance with all relevant international and local regulations and that all vessel certification and surveys for class, flag and international requirements are maintained.
Ensure safety is top priority in all vessel operations.
Responsible for financial management of ship management budget for maintenance, repairs, stores, modifications and dry-dockings for vessels under responsibility
Plan and coordinate inspection and execution of dry-docking for the vessels under Fleet operations responsibility and as assigned.
Acts as leader amongst peers, supporting the Fleet group manager in driving strategic initiatives
Acts as role model to Fleet Superintendents
Coaches, develops and engages team. Sets and communicates clear expectations, delegates responsibilities, provides feedback and holds team-members accountable. Develops and promotes talent.
Is able to drive empowerment of TOP2 onboard vessels in a remote working environment.

Who we are looking for
Marine Engineering education and experience as Senior Marine Engineer or Dual/navigation officer is an advantage.
You are a seasoned Fleet/technical superintendent/Fleet manager or a seasoned leader in the shipping industry
Proactive and positive self-starter with a high level of energy and sense of urgency, taking accountability for the success of the business. Execution focused and resilient.
Demonstrates Assertiveness to not shy away from difficult conversations, decisions and not jeopardizing long term performance for short term gains.
