Ensuring that the payroll activities and tax reporting are in compliant with the local governmental requirements and regulations. Generating of monthly reporting and participate in Governmental surveys and ensuring overall smooth daily HR operations and benefit administrative activities. 1. HR & Benefits Administration Prepare on- and off-boarding administrative documents for new hires & leavers respectively, which includes benefits and medical enrolments & termination Manage employee leave management system and application of Governmental Leave subsidies/claims Generate standard employment related letters and ensure employees' personnel files are kept and maintained Liaise and company insurance broker and any other corporate membership. 2. Payroll Processing (Local & Global Assignee) & Tax Reporting Responsible to run monthly payroll cycle for both local employees & global assignees and ensure accuracy of payroll records Work alongside with 3rd Party Payroll vendors and Finance department for payroll disbursements in accordance to the company Internal Controls and Local government legislations Timely process local pension, governmental levy and other required payments Prepare local payroll-related reports and other ad-hoc reports Attend and resolve issues / queries relating to payroll, leave and claim Involve in cross-charged invoice verification and if necessary, clarification and resolving of outstanding queries with global counterparts Perform Annual Income Tax reporting (e.g. IR8A) and any ad-hoc Income Tax Reporting (e.g. IR21), including instructing all tax-related payments 3. HR Planning & Reporting Generate standard monthly manpower reports and update of organization charts Prepare and ensure timely submission of Governmental related surveys, and any other ad-hoc reporting tasks. 4. HR Compliance Review and update of HR Policies & Work Instructions and Policies Ensure all HR related activities are conducted in a compliant way in line with Internal Standards and compliance controls. Resolve any compliance findings timely in conjunction with cross divisional topic management compliance. Attend to annual external auditor checks and queries Workplace Health & Safety Ensure workplace meets the requirement of local Workplace, health and safety standards. Implements new initiatives if necessary. Support in Crisis & Pandemic Management, ensuring Business Continuity Plans are updated and communicated accordingly 6. Others Support HR Team in establishing and delivering of corporate objectives and strategy, and organizational initiatives and projects. Any other tasks assigned. Job Requirements: Tertiary education in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Organisation Development or equivalent Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in the field of HR Experience in handling payroll activities preferred Experience with working in multinational companies Familiar with local labour legislation and requirements In depth knowledge of HR policies and processes Awareness of data protection legalization Exposure to HRIS solutions.
