Roles & Responsibilities

• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Project management experience
• Complex implementations or upgrades involving coordination of multiple vendors or departments.
• Strong understanding of the core technologies that comprise the network,server/data center, and telecommunications aspects of the Network and Infrastructure group.
• Experience working with customers face to face, discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations.
• 7+ years of experience in architecture and design of IT systems, design patterns, and frameworks for technology infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, archive, backup/recovery, virtualization, etc.
• 5 to 7 years of implementation experience with cloud and infrastructure automation (IaC) through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby,Powershell, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required, certifications in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewalling as well as familiarity with monitoring tools and automated testing tools.
• Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security,privacy, etc.)
