Job Description

To design, administer, implement, troubleshoot, and analyse global IT Infrastructure, including all on-premises and cloud base technologies, identifying improvements on an ongoing basis. To mentor IT Infrastructure Junior Colleagues within the department, including:

• Mentoring

• Skills Transfer

• Identify training

• Timescales and deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all, global, IT Infrastructure across all Companies.
• Responsible for the full project lifecycle including proposal, design, implementation, testing and roll-out.
• Provides 3rd line support as required on operation and projects issues.
• Prioritization of workloads and conflicting demands.
• Collaborating with SITO on group infrastructure and Projects.
• Liaising with business stakeholders when required and providing regular reporting when working on a project.
• Managing project costs and reporting these to the IT Network and Infrastructure Manager/ IT Manager for the discrete work packages assigned.
• Working with minimal supervision.
• Documenting projects when completed for handover to supporting team.
• Acting as a mentor to help develop more junior members of the team.
• Undertaking, from time to time, other tasks that are considered relevant to your position.

Education and Experiences

• HND in I.T related discipline, Degree level or equivalent
• Minimum Five years of relevant experience
• Substantial demonstrable experience within IT Network and Infrastructure role and be able to evidence a structured approach to tackling IT Infrastructure projects successfully.
• Experience of Microsoft server technologies up to server 2019
• Experience of Microsoft Azure cloud platform
• Experience of Microsoft Office 365
• Strong Network and Communication Skills
