What the role is:
Senior Instructor (Culinary)
What you will be working on:
- Manage the day to day running of culinary production areas to the highest standard
- Ensure that all assets are operationally ready for daily running of all kitchens
- Advise in new recipes and menu development
- Provide feedback and consultative input in curriculum design, content, assessment and food preparation, service, operations and delivery
- Plan, implement, review and improve lesson plans regularly and when needed
- Perform other related duties as required
- Qualification and/or background in Culinary-related discipline
- At least 8 years of F&B industry experience
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage Operations and Management
- Knowledge of food and industrial safety and sanitation best practices
- Experience in managing food costs and inventory
- Operational and production skills in culinary and food service with specialisation in Asian cuisine
- Knowledge and application skills for classical and modern Asian cuisine
- A team player who is adaptable, highly meticulous, with strong communication skills and a passion for interacting with youths
- History of participation in Culinary-related competitions, having the knowledge and/or experience with sustainably sourced food and eco-friendly dining concepts will be advantageous
