Job Description

Responsibilities: 1) Deal Sourcing/Screening

• Drive pipeline creation for investments in India - continuously identify and meet founders

• Build industry relationships for deal identification and sourcing - universities, VCs, incubators, accelerators, bankers, etc.

• Map emerging trends and deal activity (Global and India)

• Perform initial analysis of potential investment opportunities, assessing their fit with Paeonia\' investment strategy

2) Due Diligence

• Lead financial, commercial, and operational due diligence on potential investments (Startups, Funds, Etc.)

• Prepare and present investment memos, financial models, and other documentation for the Investment Committee

• Lead deal negotiations, structuring, and execution (Documentation) of Investments

3) Portfolio Management

• Tracking of our portfolio\xe2\x80\x99s (Startups/Funds) financial and operating performance

• Updating the Investment Committee on key developments in our portfolio

• Preparation of periodic reports for internal review

• Implementing and navigating exits strategies

4) Special Projects

• As determined by the Managing Director

Requirements:

• MBA Preferred, with Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in finance or business administration with a strong academic record from a top tier university

• At least 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting in India/Singapore

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Office 365
