Position summary:
This position will be responsible as the technical owner taking care of the collaboration tools in the organization covering all the aspects of the design, development, deployment, administration, training, operations, and support. In this role, the candidate is expected to review existing collaboration systems to determine and propose the effective optimization of the system and lead any new development or deployment following industry standards and best practices. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience primarily in the area of Microsoft SharePoint systems both in Cloud and On-Premises environment covering SharePoint Administration, SharePoint Application development with content management and portal management space. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in Webpart development, Portal development with SPFx framework, React JS, CSOM, APIs, MS SQL, Power Shell scripting and SharePoint Administration. Experience in Digital Experience platforms (DXP), Digital Adoption Platforms and Modern Employee experience platform like Microsoft Viva connect with the ability to drive user adoption following industry best practices and adoption methodologies will be an added advantage.
Critical Work Functions:

• Technical ownership of the existing collaborations tools like SharePoint intranet, extranet systems and other collaborations tools
• Play the role of technical lead to ensure that quality solutions are built and delivered fulfilling the business needs while ensuring best practices are followed as part of the development
• Fronting new initiatives leading the technical side of delivery ensuring stakeholder expectations are met
• Constantly review and ensure the system performance and to ensure no impact to the business users
• Front and ensure the support team provides quality delivery, quality and feasible solutions

• Accountable for all aspects of design, development, operations, administration, training and support of key SharePoint infrastructure and business solutions, and ensuring quality delivery of the requirements fulfillment
• Ensure best practices are followed and perform code review on the deliverables from the support team
• Knowledge in handling web application configurations and IT Security risks related activities
• Drive user adoption for newer technologies in knowledge management that are measurable
• Knowledge systems Information Architecture and Governance
• Business stakeholders and key user management

• Degree in Computer Engineering

• At least 10 years of IT experience including a minimum of 5 years of managing or leading delivery in Microsoft SharePoint Technologies

• Experience in Application and Administration PowerShell scripting knowledge, Webpart development, Portal development with SPFx framework, React JS, CSOM, APIs, MS SQL, Power Shell scripting, SharePoint Administration and knowledge in RDBMS.

• At least 2 years’ experience in delivery related to user adoption.

• Certifications like Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSA) will be an added advantage.

• At least 3 years in a related team supervisory, technical lead role.

• Familiar and comfortable with change management processes.

• Experience managing external vendors to deliver exceptional value.

• Strong in English communication skills (Spoken and Written).

• Experienced in managing senior business stakeholders (up to Director level).
