Job Description


  • Develop an ICT strategy which identifies the future direction of the use of technology within the organisation to drive efficiencies.
  • Provide IT best practices and propose and justify necessary improvements & tools to existing process flows, daily work flows and analytical data.
  • Research options for future ICT development & enhancement.
  • Lead and manage the IT team/managed services in all aspects of IT may it be on IT infrastructure team, Applications / software team, security, system implementation, IT support and IT operations.
  • Ensure smooth daily IT operations and zero downtime for critical applications.
  • Formulate and establish IT policies and best practices while complying with group requirements and audits.
  • Oversee all technology operations support & management (e.g. Network security or Cybersecurity) and evaluate them according to established goals.
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
  • Prepare and implement project plans according to schedule in order to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Manage IT budget and monitor CAPEX/OPEX expenses and spendings.
  • Liaising with other departments, determining and addressing their IT needs and requirements.
  • Manage IT vendors/Managed services provider and evaluate their performance regularly.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - preferred
  • ITIL Certification (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) \xe2\x80\x93 preferred.
  • Min 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in IT operation environment of which 5 years of relevant experience as IT Manager
  • At least 5 years of working experience in managing, maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure & hosting environments.
  • Hands-on experience in virtualization, Cloud Computing, Network Infrastructure, Server Room and Server Farm administration & Office 365.
  • Good experience in private/public Cloud hosting implementations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and have a can-do attitude
  • Result-oriented and able to work under stress.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills to lead and drive team to work together to resolve complex issues by sharing in-depth knowledge and experience.
