about 18 hours ago To direct and manage corporate, fleet IT Operations and drive tactical projects.

This role will own, develop, and manage the overall IT architecture, supporting the program delivery team to deliver architecture changes. You will own the cyber strategy and drive continuous improvements to manage risk. You will drive productivity through our Modern Workplace vision using Microsoft Sharepoint and 365 as our core platform. You will partner with our business to support the agile office through the use of appropriate technology and IT support. You will own and drive improvements to business applications, working closely with key business stakeholders. You will partner with departmental Heads across the business and ensure great internal customer service. This role comes with budget responsibilities and a technical team with direct reports of about 7 team members.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely and reporting to the Head of Technology
• Day to day management of IT and Fleet operations
• Drive tactical projects as quick wins
• Own the IT architecture and drive the Architecture Review Forum for architecture change
• Own and continue to drive the Cyber strategy
• Deliver the vision for productivity through the use of Sharepoint, Teams, Yammer and the Microsoft 365 platform to the organisation including the fleet
• Continue to deliver on our cloud transformation journey
• Drive continuous improvements of our business applications
• Support the program delivery team to implement architecture changes
• Build the IT support foundation, technology, and practices to effectively enable the success of our agile office environment.
• Recognise and bring larger projects to the fore to align with the larger transformation programs of work
• Partner with the business areas
• Support IT delivery and projects

The ideal candidate will be energetic, strategic, pro-active, responsive and practical, with the ability to communicate visually and verbally to a variety of stakeholders. He/She can manage multiple stakeholders including vendors, senior leadership team and end users. He/she has experience directing and getting the best out of people. He/She is able to advise direction, make decisions and drive improvements forward as well as manage existing expectations. He/She possesses a positive working attitude and has proven ability working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Minimum 12 years of solid relevant experience in technical IT roles, including infrastructure, networking and application support, business analyst and project management roles
• Over 8 years in an IT management role
• 5-10 years solid hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, IT infrastructure including on-premise and cloud, MS Azure, VMWare, security technologies, physical and virtual server technologies, switches and computer room equipment and setup, firewalls and IT network and architecture
• IT support and application development
• Certified in Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and MCSE
• TOGAF qualified preferred
• Cyber security understanding
• Holding or pursuing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be an advantage
• Proven capability in database and application development languages, eg: MSSQL, Java, Unix
• Experience in a Marine Engineering or shipping company would be an advantage
• Experience with OT Environments and Marine would be an advantage.
• Understanding of Ship satellite systems and infrastructure would be an advantage.
• You can be come from these industries backgrounds: Shipping, Logistics, Transportation or Engineering.
