Job Description
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, a top ranked world class university is seeking a Senior Lawyer , Legal and Secretarial Office , to immediately join its award-winning legal and compliance family.
This role suits a dynamic individual who wants to be a “change agent” and “do different”, putting “purpose” and “team” first.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely legal and strategic support and advice to schools, departments and centres that comprise the University
- Advise, negotiate and collaborate on a variety of University partnerships, including joint university collaborations, procurement contracts, IT contracts, retail leases, MOUs, LOIs etc
- Advise and support the University’s strategic initiatives and projects
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a reputable university
- 7-10 years PQE, either gained in-house or through reputable law firm
- Think creatively to provide pragmatic legal solutions to achieve objectives
- Demonstrate experience in influencing thought leadership
- Team player and consensus builder with great people skills and a good sense of humor who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong drafting and commercial skills
