And it starts with our passion for innovation.Job SummaryThis position reports to the BSAPIC General Counsel where the incumbent will play an important role in the development and continuous improvement of Bridgestone\'s global Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and will be pivotal to its implementation in the Bridgestone Asia Pacific, India and China (BSAPIC) region. The incumbent will (i) manage the ERM program by partnering closely with stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally to establish and communicate the ERM Framework, risk management methodology, processes, risk appetite and risk culture; and (ii) support the organization and departments in identifying key enterprise risks for the BSAPIC region and driving accountability for the organization and departments / risk owners in the development of risk response strategies to support and protect the execution of our local, regional and global strategies.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

  • Global ERM and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks: Participation in a global ERM working group, to continuously improve Bridgestone\'s global ERM and BCM frameworks.
  • BSAPIC ERM: Deployment and management of the global ERM program in BSAPIC, including:
  • Implementing coherent BSAPIC risk management policy, procedures and guidelines and ensuring their consistent application across BSAPIC.
  • Leading risk assessment activities with functional and business leaders to identify, assess and prioritize risks across BSAPIC.
  • Supporting risk owners in the development, monitoring and reporting of their risk response actions.
  • Developing and delivering risk reports and dashboards to BSAPIC Management and relevant Regional and/or Global governance and risk committees.
  • Contributing to the implementation and deployment of an ERM system (Fusion) in BSAPIC Collaborating and building strong relationships with other BSAPIC risk managing functions (e.g. Information Security, Internal Audit, Compliance) to ensure effective alignment and integration of risk management activities.
  • Fostering a risk-aware culture through targeted training and communication. Driving and assisting less mature BSAPIC functions and group companies to close the gap between the current and expected risk management standards.
  • BSAPIC BCM: Deployment and management of the global BCM program in BSAPIC, including:
  • Developing, updating and maintaining the BSAPIC BCM policies and procedures based on the global BCM standards such as the regional Crisis Management playbook.
  • Driving and assisting BSAPIC business functions and units in their development and implementation of key BCM components, including scenario building, risk evaluation and Business Impact Assessment (BIA), mitigation strategies, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), testing, etc.
  • Developing potential scenarios for BCM exercise.
  • BSAPIC Crisis Management: Deployment and management of the regional Crisis Management playbook Developing, updating and maintaining the regional Crisis Management playbook that is aligned with global protocols. Assisting the BSAPIC business in responding to and managing crisis situations, and escalating to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage any other duties as assigned by the Regional General Counsel.
RequirementsJob Requirement:
  • Bachelor\'s degree required, preferred concentrations in finance, business, legal or related discipline. Risk management certifications, e.g. RIMS, CRMA will be a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the Enterprise Risk Management with regional exposure.
  • Experience in leading key risk management workstreams at prior organizations.
  • Experience in risk management related activities in complex multinational organizations or consulting firms.
  • Experience in engaging with senior leaders on a regular basis.
  • Fluency in English and at least another Asian language.
  • Resilient, agile, and always independent and objective.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • A strong communicator with an ability to translate technical and detailed information into a clear and easy-to-understand message and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority to achieve business objectives.
  • Proactive, organized and able to work in a fast-paced team environment providing consistent, high-quality output.
