Our clientAn educational institution is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join their well-esteemed team.Job description
- Advise, suggest, and take charge of strategic initiatives and projects
- Work with essential parties involved in various legal, regulatory, and compliance issues
- Manage a wide-ranging data governance framework that includes policies, standards, procedures, and metric
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to promote a culture of data accountability and ensure data governance strategies are in line with the institution\'s objectives
- Supervise the selection and integration of tools and technologies for data governance and protection.
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience either gained in-house or through reputable law firm
- Demonstrable experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies
- Deep understanding of data governance principles and security standards, and privacy laws
- A team player with outstanding work ethics
