We are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for the field: Mergers & Acquisitions / Equity Investments:You\xe2\x80\x99ll create impact by:

• As part of an outstanding, international team, you will work in the Legal Corporate / M&A department of the Siemens Group with responsibility for all equity finance activities of Siemens Financial Services in Asia / Australia.
• You\'ll play a pivotal part in advising Siemens\' business partners on private equity-style investments in growth companies, projects and platforms across sectors like sustainability, energy transition, data center, infrastructure, and healthcare.
• In your role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice on the acquisition and sale of shareholdings and the establishment of joint ventures.
• You will be responsible for analyzing legal issues relevant to the business, developing possible solutions and providing independent and autonomous legal advice in direct contact with internal clients.
• Your responsibilities will include the responsible and competent drafting and negotiation of complex project and transaction documentation, in particular share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, articles of association, bylaws, and financing agreements.
• You will also be responsible for selecting, mandating, and managing external lawyers and managing legal risks.
• Siemens\' business objectives are supported by your competent and business-related advice and trustful cooperation with the responsible management.

Your defining qualities:

• Demonstrating a distinguished career path with at least 7 years of legal counsel experience in esteemed international settings, either within a renowned law firm or the legal department of a prominent industrial or technology firm.
• Showcase specialized expertise in key areas such as M&A, growth investments, venture capital and private equity.
• Hold admission to the bar
• Being fluent in Business English
• Displaying the ability to distill complex legal matters into comprehensible business risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Being a self-starter with exceptional judgment, capable of thriving independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
