Job Description
Title: Senior Legal CounselLocation: SingaporeAbout the Role:
- Private Equity Fund
- Asia jurisdiction
- Travel is required
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements - across transactions - project financing, M&A, to project development.
- Advise on all legal matters in relation to the fund\'s transactions and their portfolio companies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with project development and operations.
- Advise and manage general corporate and commercial matters
- Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry trends that may impact the company\'s projects and strategies.
- Manage relationships with in country counsels and ensure work is aligned to the organization\'s objectives
- 8 years PQE, with proven experience within the renewable energy sector
- Strong experience in negotiating, drafting and executing commercial contracts
- Commercial minded, strong business acumen to understand business goals and strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to travel
