What the role is
You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time to optimise COVID-19 test operations by the Testing Operations Task Group (TOTG). The jobholder will be an essential member of the Finance team in TOTG, and will be accountable to Deputy Director, Finance for the following.
What you will be working on
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting for billing, collection and account reconciliation • Liaise with the Sector Leads on collection matters, including the collection process for new use cases, refunds and cases for investigation • Participate in the implementation, system enhancement and maintenance of online collections system and payment gateways • Ensure compliance to regulations, policies and internal controls, and adhering to Accounting Standards • Assist in audit queries • Supervise Accounts Receivable staff on sites collection • Manage and track budget utilisation and highlight/report trends and exceptions, reporting to MOH • New year Budget processes, setting up, liaising with branch lead on funding paper submission etc • Perform related duties as necessary
What we are looking for
• Tertiary qualification in Accountancy or LLCI • Minimum 3-5 years of Accounts Receivables experience. Prior experience in Public Sector would be beneficial • Knowledge of Workday Accounting and/or NSF System is beneficial • Meticulous with eye for details and strong analytical skill • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good team player • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel and Words • As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment
