This role will be a critical position, partnering with the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy and Director of Marketing as we prepare to create magic at sea in Southeast Asia. You will be a crucial part of establishing the media and digital strategy for the successful introduction and sustainment of Disney Cruise Line\xe2\x80\x99s newest ship Disney Adventure to sail from Singapore beginning in 2025.

The Senior Manager, Media & Digital will lead our media planning and content distribution functions developing holistic, integrated, and innovative marketing plans in offline, digital and direct channels that maximize our reach and impact against our targeted audience. You will lead strategic planning hand in hand with the Sr Manager Marketing Strategy to drive audience-centric media plans.

This Senior Manager will report to the Director of Marketing, and will play a prominent role in the expansion, leading media planning and supporting integration with sales and communication teams to ensure optimal integrated communications plans across paid, earned and owned paving the way for a successful entry into these exciting markets with custom-tailored plans to the Southeast Asia consumer.

This role will be responsible to lead the media plans in all markets, leading market specific media strategies which will act as the core foundation of the go to market campaign approach in each country. The individual will have a strong understanding of media consumption across key markets of Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Southeast Asia. The role collaborates with the communications disciplines across creative, partnership and internal company synergy to drive effective communication strategies that motivates the consumer through the purchase funnel of awareness, product understanding and conversion.

You should be an energetic, proactive, self-starter with experience working within a media organization ideally with large-scale travel industry business clients. Candidates must work well in teams and possess the ability to work in a collaborative environment across countries and timezones.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a dynamic team to achieve both professional and business goals
  • Lead your team in developing audience-centric plans, including budgets, audience sizing, consumer insights, media flighting, message distribution, and reporting
  • Be the lead for Strategy partners, understanding their goals, identifying new ways to innovate growth and showcasing new ideas in the media landscape in collaboration with agency partner
  • Ensure translation of marketing strategy into clear briefs to inform media planning agency
  • Partner with agency to formulate and crystalize the most effective media strategy to stimulate market performance
  • Own the media agency relationship and ensure maximized engagement
  • Ensure appropriate investment to campaign recommendations driving impactful KPI performance
  • Develop and integrate consumer engagement strategies in partnership with marketing strategy and communications team partners to reach key audiences
  • Lead the development of detailed content and asset distribution plans and orchestrate their input to creative and content production teams
  • Work hand in hand with Sr Manager Creative to ensure optimal creative / media strategy
  • Ensure on the pulse of media consumption habits especially across digital and social engagement
  • Lead project management efforts to bring media plans to life, shifting and optimizing to beat goals
  • Lead paid marketing budgets, supervise channel spend allocations, monitor for pacing and delivery, and re-forecast / replan to achieve business and revenue goals based on campaign performance data
  • Ensure effective measurement plans for continuous learning and optimized media performance
  • Collaborate across SEA Media planning partners such as Disney+ and Studios as well as Global Media Planning Partners within the Center of Excellence for best practice and continuous learning
  • Develop presentations highlighting campaign / performance wins, insights, and future opportunities
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of proven experience in omni-channel, media planning (owned and paid), marketing communications
  • Experience developing strategic media, creative marketing plans in Southeast Asia
  • Experience as a leader of direct reports and keen understanding of the region
  • Significant experience in managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment reliant upon successful collaboration and integration of key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus superior professionalism
  • Skilled at understanding performance metrics to assess & optimize programs
  • Travel Industry experience highly desired
Required Education:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent
