Job Description


What the role is:As Senior Manager (Career Development), you will support our organisation's efforts to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and organisational flexibility. Your primary objective is to develop and implement career management strategies, drive career agility initiatives, and contribute to optimising workforce capabilities through effective training and development programmes.This role offers you the opportunity to play a significant part in shaping our employees' career journeys and supporting the organisation's overall agility and competence.Key duties and responsibilities that need to be performed to meet the primary objective of the job. This will include the important result areas (what) along with the rationale (why).Career Management and Development:Design and implement structured career conversations for first-year employees and at key career milestones.Develop and maintain self-directed career development resources.Create and manage a comprehensive career management framework.Career Agility Initiatives:Drive and administer career agility initiatives, including the facilitation and management of internal job rotations.Workforce Competency Framework Development:

  • Create and maintain workforce competency frameworks.
Align competencxe2x80x8by frameworks with organisational goals and future skill requirements.Collaborate with various departments to ensure frameworks are relevant and applicable.Training Initiatives and Collaborations:
  • Manage and coordinate training initiatives, including milestone programmes for employee development.
  • Foster collaborations with internal and external partners to enhance training offerings.
Programme Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of career management and development programmes.
  • Analyse data and gather feedback to support continuous improvement of workforce development initiatives.
  • Keep informed and update of industry best practices and emerging trends in career development and workforce agility.
Knowledge & Skills:Minimum- At least 3 years of experience in HR role.- Experience in career development or capability building.Desired- Experience in implementing innovative HR initiatives.- Knowledge of competency framework and development.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
