The Asia Pacific (APAC) Communications team forms part of a dynamic global team of communicators who play an integral role in the company\xe2\x80\x99s storytelling - with a strong focus on growth, inclusivity and purpose.

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Communications - APAC to drive Hilton\xe2\x80\x99s internal communications across APAC, with a particular focus on customer engagement, which aims to shape the next era of travel for our guests. With Team Members being key stakeholders in helping us fulfill customer engagement initiatives, the role will have a particular focus on communications that engage Team Members with this initiative.

Working alongside a team based in Singapore, the role will cover a broad mix of internal and executive communications, requiring a self-starter with strong internal communications experience who can turn their hand to a range of disciplines across various communication priority areas.

What will I be doing?

As the Senior Manager, Communications - APAC, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Work closely with APAC and Global Communications colleagues, as well as key business partners \xe2\x80\x93 this exciting role is critical in delivering frequent and high-quality internal communications and creative campaigns.
  • Develop, manage and deliver a regional communications plan to inform and engage Team Members in both corporate and hotel roles across the region. Celebrating Hilton\xe2\x80\x99s award-winning brands, culture and the diversity of the 23 countries in APAC where we currently operate hotels.
  • Drive internal communications for the APAC Brand Management team to build Brand love and increase awareness and engagement with our brands through initiatives and messages, utilizing existing channels where possible.
  • Develop, manage, and deliver against a strategic communications plan, ensuring the initiative is well woven into existing work across APAC Communications team and work closely with senior APAC stakeholders across various groups (Brand, Commercial, Human Resources, and Operations, etc.) to support business needs and ambitions.
  • Contribute to the success of Hilton\'s global communications activity \xe2\x80\x93 working closely with Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) colleagues to ensure alignment, ensuring APAC is well-represented in global storytelling.
  • Play a key role as our APAC storyteller \xe2\x80\x93 connecting with our Corporate Team Members and hotels; helping to develop great messaging, uncover unique storytelling opportunities and create great content in support of communications plan.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and unchartered territory, problem solve, think strategically, connect dots and execute efficiently in a matrixed organization.
  • Adapt global messages for regional needs, find new and creative ways to engage key internal audiences and establish ways to track and measure progress and success.
  • Partner with regional communications leads for translation of communications materials as required.
  • Support with relevant internal content for APAC President including newsletters, video updates, brief development, presentation creation and social media content.
  • Learn, manage, use (and when needed set-up) tools, channels, and processes in support of internal communications.
  • Support the APAC press office in issues and crisis management and join the manager rota, with coach support, for the out of hours press office (approx. one weekend per quarter).
  • Act as a role model for junior members of the team \xe2\x80\x93 providing guidance and support in all aspects of communications. While every member of the team has defined areas of responsibilities, we are a small and tight knit team with members of the team engaging and stretching across communications areas and projects as needed.

  • Team player with a positive, \xe2\x80\x98can do\' attitude \xe2\x80\x93 bringing new ideas and fresh perspective whenever possible
  • Experience using project management and design tools such as AirTable, Canva and video editing software an advantage but not mandatory
  • Previous work creating social media or other types of creative short form content
  • Experience working with new and different communications mediums and a unique and different point of view
