Work you'll do

• Responsible for managing financial operations
• Responsible for putting in place good internal control policies and procedures, and ensuring that internal controls built into the systems are functioning according to specifications
• Responsible for driving and delivering Business Process re-design/transformation
• Drive and facilitate change management in accounting and financial operations
• Co-ordinate and drive firm-wide financial planning and control
• Good working knowledge of SAP and adept at mastering new financial systems
• Responsible for the proper maintenance of accounting records and enhance the accuracy of the firm's reported financial results
• Improve Process Efficiency and Effectiveness
• Improve Customer Satisfaction by reviewing and setting service standards
• Improve data integrity by reviewing work processes and implementing appropriate control points and control reports. Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and measures on work instructions
• Improve controls and governance by reviewing internal controls and standard operating procedures, and ensuring staff compliance. Ensure that changes in processes and procedures are consistently applied

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a related role
• Good working knowledge of SAP
• Effective leadership skills
• Effective communication skills
• Good critical thinking skills to analyze data, to evaluate options, to make informed decisions and to develop innovative solutions
