Job Description


As a Senior Manager, FP&A, you play an instrumental role in leading all activities relating to strategic planning and analysis, annual budget exercise, monthly management reporting and forecasting, with a view to achieve the company\'s long term business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop key performance metrics, trends to drive improvement for the business and to provide key analytics on financial performance. You will be involved in adhoc projects to develop and maintain financial models as required. You will also be expected to perform review of existing process to enhance efficiency and re-engineer when necessary.

(1) Financial Reporting

  • Provide Management Leadership team with business insights, analysis and recommendations
  • Review, evaluate and challenge business performance
  • Partner closely with Group Finance, SG Finance teams to lead Budget and Long Term Plan exercise
  • Act as key liaison between Group Finance and SG Finance teams
(2) Business Analysis
  • Creating financial models to improve business performance, assess risks
  • Working with management to monitor performance against long term plan
  • Developing strategies and assisting business to drive profitable growth (understanding markets, optimise margins, mitigating risks, ensure costing accuracy, mitigate losses through claims or operational errors etc.)
(3) Finance Re-engineering
  • Identify, prioritize, and deliver business process improvements
  • Lead projects involving cross-functional team to improve business processes by understanding current processes and proposing modifications or re-engineering initiatives, taking an end-to-end perspective with a focus on improved service and operational excellence, and increased customer and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Take ownership of ongoing continual measurement and monitoring processes working with functional owner
(4) Be the Change Agent
  • Drive adoption through change management techniques
  • Support Product & Functional transformation
Requirements
  • Financial acumen and qualification (Degree, CIMA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in FP&A, or from similar roles acting as an advisor towards management and/or business stakeholders (Finance Business Partner, BA or similar)
  • Have a good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards, local tax rules, GST principles and reporting requirements
  • Experience in Logistics industry is desirable
  • Partnering mindset - Effective stakeholder management skills and able to build effective trusted relationships, connecting with stakeholders/teams in the organization
  • Self-starter - Able to manage the regular deliverables and to identify where to invest more time for the better outcome without requiring step by step guidance
  • Problem Solver - Solves complexity based on accurate identification of underlying factors/causes and understands implications including those outside of immediate area
  • Adaptability - Able and willing to adapt in a dynamic environment. Adopting a transformative mindset
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who can perform under stress, multi-task, and be able to work independently
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI and VBA is desirable
