The Role:

Regional IT Manager provides accountability to location operations for the delivery of the services and projects by Infrastructure and Operations. The individual must establish, sustain and enhance a working relationship with Project, Location and Executive Managers in Southeast Asia and China, such that business management is aware of and supports Infrastructure & Operations plans, and Infrastructure & Operations are fully informed of business plans and requirements. The role represents the business in aspects of Infrastructure & Operations planning and has line accountability for Services delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the Manager, other EDS / RDSS / Support Functions, and third-line support teams, on the operational aspects of associated services to meet or exceed committed service levels.
  • Executes the operation, reporting and continuous improvement of the services and functions required to deliver and support infrastructure services and products to meet the needs of the business.
  • Performs processes to ensure the stability, capacity and performance of associated services and functions. Addresses and adjusts services as needed to maintain or exceed service levels to business.
  • For accountable services, partners with the IT organizations responsible for ITIL service management-based processes associated with Incident, Problem, Change, Availability and Release Management.
  • Oversight of ensuring adherence by all service teams to Asset / Inventory Management.
  • Critical executive / client support.
  • Ensure fluid/active participation in all Disaster Recovery activities (planning/testing/coordinating/responding).
  • Work with local regulatory bodies / authorities where required.
  • Work closely with Governance/Compliance/Audit functions.
  • Support the BRM (Business Relationship Management) function by acting as an End to End IT representative of I&DD/Infrastructure & Operations by establishing fluid communications between the BRM and the Business to ensure demands are being communicated, documented and delivered upon.
  • Oversight of teams coordinating asset disposal, ensuring strict adherence to disposal process(es).
  • Ensure all necessary onboarding support is made available to People Group(s) and Hiring Managers.
  • Support procurement activities at both local and regional levels.
  • Approve procurement and supporting budget activites per agreed Delegation of Authority (DoA).
  • Oversee Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing for locations in remit.
  • Management and oversight of unsupported applications and associated licensing hardware as needed.
  • In partnership with senior operations support analysts, identifies, documents, and resolves infrastructure issues affecting computing service users.
  • Understands workflow, process inputs, outputs and dependencies, etc. specific to their role.
  • Organizes time and information in a manner conducive to a high level of personal productivity; able to multi-task in an environment driven by time-constrained deliverables.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary level qualifications in IT, or equivalent technical discipline (including Engineering), or significant senior management experience and able to demonstrate knowledge and capability within the IT sector.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in charge of Infrastructure & Operations \xe2\x80\x93 preferably for a global organization, Infrastructure & Operations financial management including global license management, Infrastructure & Operations charge-out regimes; and procurement of Infrastructure & Operations assets and services at global levels. In addition, assessing the impact and challenges of Infrastructure & Operations of business operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project (or equivalent) and SharePoint.
  • Broad understanding of IT technology including Servers, SANs, Voice and Data communications, application management and deployment, and a standardized IT environment
  • Understanding of the ECPM industry & business strategies, related Infrastructure & Operations Services requirements and related Infrastructure & Operations enablement.
  • Possesses management skills to organize and support diverse virtual teams across locations and technical staff to ensure success in operations and IT project delivery.
  • A team player with excellent leadership skills and ability to build effective relationships.
  • Strong relationship and advocacy skills with business development and strategic orientation.
  • Strong presentation and communication (verbal and written) skills.
  • Strong project management and negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills.
  • Adapts to change and works effectively in a dynamic environment.
