undefinedThe position is responsible for the day-to-day management of customer accounts that are assigned to this role. In addition, this role is responsible for identifying, prospecting, qualifying and acquiring new opportunities, with a focus on those with regional/ global delivery requirements. As part of a small but agile team, this role is expected to help with the building of a healthy account profile and pipelines.

The selected candidate must have relevant industry knowledge and with the ability to manage and coordinate all commercial and contractual aspects between SingPost and our customers, ensuring compliance, profitability and handling operational business to maintain/or improve KPIs.

This position works closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences to our customers, identifying opportunities to grow the business relationships with our customers, both existing and new.

Key Responsibilities and Results Areas

Account Management and Business Development

  • Maintain and grow the existing business relationship with existing customers, acting as the SingPost representative to customer organizations; at the same time, be the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders in SingPost
  • Manage the account management and business development activities through the maintenance of good practices, including managing contracts (new/ expiry/ renewals), and receivables
  • Lead business and operational reviews with customers
  • Be accountable for engagement of corporate customers, developing deep relationships between SingPost and these organizations
Develop new opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Existing corporate and key accounts.: Develop, win opportunities, and manage revenue performance, in accordance customer development plan
  • New Customers and accounts: Develop, win opportunities and manage revenue performance, in accordance customer development plan
Cross-Functional/ Business Unit Collaboration
  • Lead the onboarding of new customers in collaboration with various internal stakeholders/ departments
  • Develop and maintain excellent cross-functional and cross-business unit relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Communicate and if required, lead the implementation and on-boarding of customer specific requirements with internal stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
  • Motivated to find ways to continuously improve processes and responsibilities in their role(s).
Communication
  • Interaction with variety of internal and external stakeholders via various communication mediums (written and/or verbal)
Other Duties
  • Participate in other projects/ initiatives as required by the company as business needs arise

Requirements
  • 4 to 7 years of experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of work experience
  • Working knowledge in cross border, last mile delivery and reverse logistics is essential.
  • Previous experience with international/ regional clients would be a plus point
  • Proven track record in leading and managing the large and strategic local and international customers.
  • Proven track record in effective and efficient territory and account development, planning & execution, solution pitching, pipeline generation, cross/up-selling, acquisition, revenue growth, contract management, escalation management and customer requirements implementation.
  • Comfortable in working in a matrix organization, management/leadership by influence to a group of one or more teams led by different leaders/managers.
