We are looking for an experienced, versatile and self-motivated HR professional to join our HR team.What you will be working on:The selected candidate will have the opportunity to undertake a broad spectrum of HR functions. a) Keep abreast of the line divisions\' needs and build trustworthy relations with them to develop and implement HR strategies that align with their plans, objectives and goals. b) Provide guidance and support to MCCY family on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures from leadership appointments, compensation & benefits to performance management, for effective HR issue resolution, people management and good compliance. c) Manage job grades and structures that aids MCCY in capacity building and manpower planning. d) Support and lead HR projects and initiative as required.What we are looking for:Work Experience and Knowledge 1. At least 4-7 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits or similar role in both public service and private sector. 2. Knowledge of Employment Act, Civil Service Instructional Manual, and other employment related legislations. Competencies Have demonstrated the following HR competencies: 1. Policies, Processes & Legislation: a. Ability to apply HR policies and processes while taking into consideration employees\' and organisational needs, and legislations and industry good practices. 2. Total Rewards: a. Ability to evaluate and review the effectiveness of current Total Rewards and initiatives to ensure competitiveness and exercise prudence for MCCY family. 3. Organisation Design: a. Ability to advise stakeholders on job design and apply appropriate job grading methodologies to ascertain job grades within the organisation structure. Behaviour Traits 1. Possess analytical and critical thinking skills. 2. Able to work independently and in a team. 3. Possess excellent collaboration, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. 4. Able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment. 5. Able to handle HR issues with sensitivity and empathy. 6. Adaptable and constantly seeks improvement and innovation in HR work. ** This is a 1-year contract post, subject to renewal.
